2009 Donation Recipients

“New” Lititz Public Library in its Tenth Year.
Susan Tennant, Director of the Lititz Public Library, receiving a $5,000 check from the Lititz Rotary Club’s President Thomas Oehme and Past President Karen Mailen on August 25. Thanking the Rotary Club for their current and past support, Sue Tennant said that the funds would be donated towards the many teaching aids that the Library is adding for younger children. She went on to say that the Library now stocks 76,000 books, audio books, music and movies, and receives over 1,000 visitors a day, making it one of the most vibrant and used Library facilities in the County and has almost 20,000 registered patrons.
